Adventist Educational Network

TAIS is part of an international school network in Greater China that comprises schools in Taipei, Kaosuing, Hong Kong, and Guang Zhou China. This network of sister Schools cooperate in college admissions, academics, school trips, sporting events, among other activities. Students who enroll in any of these schools have the option to transfer to any of our schools in the Greater China network, and our Adventist network worldwide. Founded in 1872 in the United States, the Adventist educational system has grown to over 7,800 schools in 75 countries around the world.

The Adventist Educational Network is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a Protestant denomination of over 13 million members in 110 countries.

Adventists believe in the Christian principles of spiritual, social, moral and physical wellness based on Biblical doctrines of temperance and stewardship. This has led them to be leaders in the private development of education and healthcare.

In addition to its worldwide school network, the Adventists also own and operate over 550 medical facilities worldwide. This has placed Adventists in a leadership position in the development and training of healthcare professionals. In fact, one in every four Adventists in the United States works either in the education or medical fields

The Adventists' emphasis on mental, spiritual and physical well-being has become increasingly relevant in today's uncertain and polluted world. As of 2004, combined enrollment at Adventist schools worldwide has passed 2,000,000 and is growing at over 11% annually.
