Summer School
TAIS Summer School 2021 will be held from July 5th to 30th.
TAIS Summer School classes are divided into two categories, the ELL English Immersion program that is designed for students who are looking to improve their English proficiency, and Credit Classes for students who are enrolled at TAIS or a GIA affiliate or those wishing to get high school credit. English language, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing skills will be gained through these fun, project-based classes.
Science, Math and Language Arts Classes
Learning English through the core subjects. 透過科學、數學、及語文等核心課程,來學正確又有趣的英文!
The best way to learn is by doing. At the 2020 English Summer Camp, students will be learning principles of science, math, and language arts through projects and activities. Along the way, they’ll be acquiring the needed vocabulary and literary skills to function in these subject areas. Fun and learning will happen together!

In this day and age, Colleges and Universities are looking for more than just test scores. At TAIS, we have a system of quantifying and demonstrating special skills and achievements students have made. During English Summer Camp, students will be working on a variety of new skills.


Pinewood Derby 「松木賽車」課程
Build and Race your own cars 自己的賽車自己做!
For the first time, TAIS will be hosting Pinewood Derby races. Students will be building their own cars in classes. They’ll have to calculate the physics of gravity, friction, and mass and decide how to design the fastest car. Then they will test their skills against other students.



Blog Development
「就是要當個英文部落客!」課程
English writing and tech skills will be merged into a blog development. In it, students will learn a variety of web 2.0 skills from making videos to posting photos, polls, and interactive web elements. They’ll be learning valuable 21st century skills along with improving their English basics.


Credit Classes 美國高中學分」課程
English 1 and 2, Physical Science, Pre-Calculus 「英國文學一」、「英國文學二」、「物理科學」以及「微積分先修」等課程
For students who wish to get ahead on their regular credit classes, a variety of classes will be offered. Students only have to focus on one class, as opposed to a normal load of 5 to 7. The content is delivered at a more rapid pace than during the regular school year, but there is still plenty of time for fun learning activities.
