I have studied and lived at TAIS for about 4 years in total, and after graduation, it made me realize how much I miss and like my lifestyle in TAIS. From my experience, TAIS has been a very accommodating school. Whenever students are in need, teachers and fellow students are around to help. This made TAIS a unique school as you cannot get this kind of experience in, let’s say, another boarding school. It made problems easier to resolve and I also learned to communicate to teachers whenever I needed help with something. As students get to know the teachers, staff, and students more, with time students tend to start considering them as family even when our backgrounds may be different. In my case, I have been able to ask for advices from the teachers and sometimes would also talk about random things and learning about each other’s culture. Apart from the school environment, TAIS also offers unique weekend activities that can rarely be experienced in other schools. The activities give students the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and explore their interests. In my case, I really enjoyed the hikes, biking, job opportunities and small games we had. From my time spent in TAIS, I can definitely say that it was memorable.
