Taiwan Adventist International School(TAIS) accepts students from Grades 7 to 12 who wish to pursue an American education pathway. The program is ideal for all students interested in a comprehensive US education based curriculum and who possess a foundational level of English proficiency.
 

Once you have the required documents ready, please schedule your online English placement test(for course planning only, not for admission) and interview date by phone or email at least one week in advance. Please pay the application fee of 1,200 NTD online before the interview. Admission will be granted to those who are approved by the admissions committee pass the interview.

 

01 Applicants currently in 6th grade 【Apply for 7th grade】

  5. Passport copy (valid for over six months; Taiwan passport accepted; other nationalities, please include all passports).

  7. Attendance record.
  8. Proof of international language exams (if available).

02Applicants currently in 7th-8th grade【Apply for 2nd semester of 7th grade OR 8th grade】

  1. Admission application form （Application Form）
  2. Official Chinese transcript, stamped or signed by the original school, with separate reports for each semester. Grades should be presented as numerical values.
  3. Official English transcript or grade report, stamped or signed by the original school, with the student’s name spelled as it appears on their passport.
    • Combined versions accepted.
    • For international transfer applicants: Please have documents verified by the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the originating country before submission.
  4. Passport copy (valid for over six months; Taiwan passport accepted; other nationalities, please include all passports).

03Applicants currently in 9th grade【Apply for 2nd semester of 9th grade OR 10th grade】

  1. Admission application form (Application Form）
  2. Official Chinese transcript, stamped or signed by the original school, with separate reports for each semester. Grades should be presented as numerical values.
  3. Official English transcript or grade report:
    （1） with separate reports for each semester.
    （2） stamped or signed by the original school.
    （3） with the student’s name spelled as it appears on their passport.
    （4） The official transcript must list grades and credits per subject (for U.S.-based systems) or the weekly class hours per subject (e.g., sessions per week and duration per session). Grades should be presented in numerical format. If grades are in letter format, provide the grading scale.
    • If class hours cannot be listed on the transcript, a separate document or statement should outline the schedule (e.g., Math: 3 sessions/week, 45 mins each).
    • If it is not possible to provide a separate explanation or certification, please attach the class schedule corresponding to the semester or academic year listed on the transcript to facilitate the credit recognition process.
    • For international transfer applicants: Please have documents verified by the Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the originating country before submission.
    • Unofficial transcripts or those lacking official school authentication will be used for course planning purposes only, with the actual transferable credits confirmed after official transcripts are received
