When is the best time to enroll at TAIS?

The sooner you join TAIS, the sooner you can develop your English learning ability, adapt to the American education system, and benefit from our holistic approach to education.

In the American curriculum, junior high school is grades 7-8, and senior high school is grade 9 -12. Students can apply for grade 7 after completing elementary school. If you wish to connect to high school in the United States, it is recommended you apply for the school in the 8th grade in order to have a smooth transition to the American high school.

TAIS follows Christian values, will non-Christian students be affected?

TAIS operates under Christian humanistic principles based on the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy in both its curriculum and student life management. However, students are not required to change their religious beliefs, and their experience at TAIS will not be affected by their personal faith.

All students are required to take the “Life & Interpersonal Education (Bible)” course. The curriculum is designed with a focus on character development and is tailored to be age-appropriate.

  • For Grades 7–8, the course emphasizes Bible stories and character-building lessons.
  • For Grade 9 and above, in addition to Bible and character studies, students engage in more academic exploration of the Bible and materials related to holistic development of mind, body, and spirit, helping them gain a deeper understanding of Western culture and self-awareness.

Does TAIS accept transfer students?

Yes. TAIS welcomes students who are interested in enrolling each semester.

For Taiwanese transfer applications due to the U.S. curriculum system and required attendance hours, students must transfer within two weeks after the start of a new semester. Please contact the TAIS office for specific semester start dates.

For international students, applications are open for Grade 7 and Grade 10.

To apply for a transfer, please select a time between Monday and Thursday, prepare all required application documents(Please refer to this page【International Students】 ), and make an appointment with the office in advance.
For appointments, please call +886-49-289-7309.

Who should enroll at TAIS?

Students interested in an English immersion program that develops leaders with a global vision grounded in faith, character building, and service.

TAIS’international diploma opens doors to study abroad. Our accreditation with the Ministry of Education makes TAIS an option for those who wish to develop their English proficiency, acquire a holistic education, and still continue with studies in Taiwan.

While TAIS is a Christian school, there are no restrictions on religious beliefs for enrolled students.
